Creation of PO against contract.

Hi all, When am trying to create PO with exactly equal quantity as of contract, system is giving following msg.

" Contract target value 4603000837 reached". I checked in system message settiing where this msg is marked as error msg. Also I checked in SE91 for msg class 06 & msg no. 155, where it shows as 'Contract target value & reached"

But my question is why system is giving this msg when its PO quantity is equal to contract target qty. What shud be the setting. If I set this msg for warning, then system will allow for exceeded Po qty also, which I dont want. Pls guide.

Hi Sarag,

Message 06 155,is designed to check the already created PO value against

the contract i.e. during the PO creation, if the contract's target value

has already been reached with the existing PO's,it does not consider the

current PO value.

When you are creating PO with reference to contract , are you changing the price of material in PO??

If yes system will not allow to create a PO more tha target value of contract.

Hi,

generally the message no.06-155 is set as a warning message just for information . rather the message no.06-078 & 06-042 are set as error which will prevent from crossing the target quantity .
