Material Availabilty Check and Store Requisition

Q1: How can we generate store requisition in SAP. (by standard)?

Q2: How can we check material's availability while making Store requisition and PR.

Q2: Scenario:

An issue has been raised with reference to the u201Cpurchase requisitionu201D process. In the current process, store is not kept in the loop and therefore purchase requisition is raised ignoring the fact that the required material might be available in the store.

What are the ways to check material's availability with out enabling end users to check stock reports?

Requirement:

Whenever end user raises requisition system should automatically propose the status of the that particular material.

Hi,

Use Purchase requsition BAdi "ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST" and get the Plant wise stock from table MARD and propose in a message during PR creation.

Dear,

User can check material availability in PR itself by selecting option environment > Material stocks .

If you have required futher check ,then apply release strategy in PR for better control

Or use automatic process by fixing minimum & maximum stock level in material master ,this will be the MRP run process which helps to generate automatic PR in system
