Hi,
we use an SAP XI 3.0 (Netweaver 2004) System. To cleanup the database, we configured archivejobs with SARA. We used for configure the system the how2guide Link: [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e0afdd69-a8a7-2d10-7e9a-cbf6fa21c5a7?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true].
So it works fine. The system archives will be discard in a directory on the filesystem. Now, I would like to delete the archives after thirty days from filesystem.
Is it possible to delete the archives from filesystem with SARA?
regards
Alex
Thanks for your advice.
It would seem that there's no possibility to delete archive files with SARA. We will be implement a script to delete the archives from filesystem.

Alex

Hi,
Using SARA you cant but the choice may be different in every company for example, you can delete automatically the archive files. You can create an automatic script which deletes these archive files one week after they have been created.
