role creation

Hi,

I've just created a role using the role editor in the Content Studio. I can see this role in the Content Catalog, however when I go to search for this Role to assign it to a user in the User Admin tab, it's not there. Is there an additional step that I must do to have the role visible to the User Admin function? Thanks!

Hi Vu,

you have to search for the ID (including prefix), not for the name, and you can use an "*" as wildcard.

So if the name of the role is "My Role" and the ID is "MyRoleID" and the prefix is "my.pre.fix", the following results hold if you search for...

"My Role" - not found

"My*" - not found

"My" - found

"my*" - found

"*Role" - not found

"Role" - found
