How to validate key figures in Manual planning (Web) Issue

Hi,

I am trying to implement the white paper 'How to validate key figures in Manual planning (Web) Issue'.

One of the steps to link the new application to the web application is to enter an Application class in the web application.

I do not have a field 'Application Class', I only have 'Name Generated Class' which is only accesible if 'Generate class' is set to true (In the white paper it says: Generate class: false).

Am I missing something ? I used 'Name Generated Class' and my application class is not working.

Can this white paper be implemented with 3.1B (patch 23) ?

Hello David,

the exit class is not available in SEM 3.1. You can take a slightly different approach: Set the "generate class" property to "true", then generate it in your own namespace. Then set it back to false. Now you can modify your class. However, be careful not to overwrite (re-generate the class).

PS: Upgrading to SEM 3.5 should not be a big deal.
