Data types and amounts - INV1 table

Could somebody tell me what the document types are in table INV1 (Invoice lines) so that I can write a sales analysis report.

All lines in this table are positive and I need to be able to identify those that belong to credit memos etc so that I can subtract them from the invoices to get back to a net figure that agrees with the P&L.

Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback.

So am I correct to conclude that INV1 holds Invoice lines and RIN1 holds Credit memo lines?

Yes, that is correct

INV here is abbreviation of INVoice. While RIN means Reverse of INvoice. You can find PCH for A/P invoice and RPC for A/P Credit Memo.

Welcome To SAP Community Network Forum

You have to Try INV1 for Row Total Calculation & INV4 for Tax Calulation.

Try RIN1 for Row Total Calculation & RIN4 for Tax Calulation

Hello,

I think

You can make same query using Doctotal and applied amount.

Thanks

Hi,

Welcome you post on the forum.

INV1 table has only invoice amount. You need to check RIN1 table for credit memo. When credit memo is based on the invoice, that may not guarantee the line amount is the same as invoice amount.

Hi CSpooner.......

Welcome to SAP Business One........

You can have the condition that if TargetType <>14

this wont include invoice copied to Credit Memo.....
