List of Form Settings in seach mode

Is it not possible to restrict user to open the Form Settings in List of Form Settings in Find Modes?

Thanks for your answer. But the General Authorisations only restrict the Form settings in transaction entry but not in the listing search function,example in the list of BP Master Data or Item Master Data within the transaction entry window.

Hi Kedalene,

You can control the access to form settings by Authorizations. But you can block access to form settings or allow, there is no specific config for the form mode.

1. Go to Administration -> System Initialization -> Authorizations -> General Authorizations.

2. Select the user or group on the left panel.

3. Then set No Authorization for the subject Document Settings to block the access to Form settings.

P.S: Authorizations does not have effect for superusers.

Hi,

If you want to have the uniformity in UI of every SAP user you can make use of UI template and assign that template per user.

But controlling the display of form settings through UI seems to be impossible.

Try if through SDK its possible. Just a guess.
