about trans directory

Hi, all

we use 3system landscape with single trans directory

now trans directory get 96%

in my trans directory lot of client export file like RT0001........14.SID with size in gb

and also support package file in EPS/in those are already imported

my question is can i delete old client export request like RT000..... and RX000...... and files from EPS/in

Note 41732 should help you clear out the transport directory. Hope that helps.

Hi,

It would depend on whether you need the client exports for later use.

Ideally the trans directory should be kept to a minimum possible 'weight', else there could be issues during Basis related activites like patching, transports management, etc.

Create a backup directory and transfer the 'heavy' but not used content to this directory.
