Field STCEG required at FB01 (one-time vendor account)

Does anyone know how to put the field STCEG required when posting, through FB01 or similar, to an one-time vendor account?

Hi Marssel,

Yes, I've tried OB41 and OBC4 and I believe that I can't control this kind of fields through these tcodes, because I want to change the behaviour of fields that only apply to one-time vendors.

You must enter in OBD3 - vendor account groups - select an entry, go to 'General data / Control', and define 'VAT registration number' as 'supress'. Do it for all account groups that doesn't contain 'one-time account' flagged. For 'one-time account' mark 'optional'.

Hi,

Account group field status determine the status while creating/ changing the master data.

For posting, you can control via posting key setting or field status assigned to gl.

As you need to make it as required only for one time vendors, so create a validation in OB28/ GGB1 for it.

I had followed your sugestion and I had used OB28 to solve my problem. Since STCEG is a BSEG field (not a BSEC one), it works perfectly.

Please check in OBD3 , you can make this filed enabled . You can control the behavior of this field using OB23. This is for your information.
