Merging accounts: How does, should or can IS-U behave

Hello together,

we are implementing SAP CRM 7.0 with EHP1. Our client is a comany of the utilites industry that uses SAP IS-U to bill contracts. Both systems are already connected to each other and data replication of business partners, offers and contracts works fine.

Now we would like to implement the standard function to merge accounts (data cleansing cases). For accounts, for which no contracts have been created, this functionality works properly. But for accounts, for which contracts have been created (and that are replicated from CRM to IS-U), the date cleansing case receives the status 'declined'.

How can we solve this issue, that replicated business partners and contracts will be assigned from the source account to the master account both in CRM and in IS-U?

Any suggestions?
