JCO connection

Hi,

I am trying to deply Flightlist example.

1)I have J2EE server and SLD on local m/c.

2) I have configured the JCO connections., but while testing them i get error as RFCERROR__CONNECTION:CONNECT TO MESSAGE HOST FAILED>

3) If i try to run the example it gives me error as

Error stacktrace:

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDTypeNotFoundException: type extern:com.sap.tut.wd.flightlist.model.types.FlightModel:com.sap.tut.wd.flightlist.model.types.Bapisfldat could not be loaded: com.sap.dictionary.runtime.DdException: failed to create provider: null

I have configured message server as host name with my local m/c and message server port as per services file in win32/drivers/etc

Can some one help in this matter?.

If any useful documents...to configure right from J2EE engine to JCO connections to make my application work mail me patildeepti@yahoo.com

Thanks

Urgent need.

Best Regards,

Deepti Patil

    Hi Deepti,

The message server entry should point to the r/3 system you want to access. Also the host name of the message server should be present in the host file under win32/drivers/etc directory.

    Hope this helps

    • Hi Deepti,

Please check two things. The IP address of the host is present in the hosts file under etc directory. Also while creating the technical system in the SLD you gave the appropriate logon group. By default it is PUBLIC. Please confirm from your basis administrator the exact logon group.
