Hi Shabarish ,

-> through navigation ( in the transaction, which you'll analyze)

1) system status

2) double click GUI Status

3) Goto -> Object lists -> Function list

Hello Shabarish,

one short way to ok-codes:

press menu point with left mouse button and simultanly F1 for help - popup with code appears (but doesn't work for menu buttons).

Buttons are assigned to function keys, which can be accessed by the number F1 = /01, F11 = /11 - but I would prefer using okcodes attached to the menu points.

Save way is recording like Abby described.

Hello Shabarish,

I believe Christian's is the best way to find the Function Code assigned to a pushbutton on the screen / application toolbar.

Also it is always better to use the function codes.

Regards,

Anand Mandalika.

P.S. Christian : You have said that this does not work for the menu buttons. But it does work just the same even for menu buttons. What it does not work for, is the Standard Toolbar.

The easiest way to learn what the various ok codes are for a transaction is to record whatever transaction you wish to know the codes for using trans SHDB. It will show you every BDC_OKCODE used while recording.

Other than that, it's pretty difficult to list "typical" okcodes, as they vary greatly from transaction to transaction.

Hope that helps -

Abby

It's different transaction by transaction. So, you cannot make this kind of list.

It depends how it was defined in the GUI status.
