Side Effect Report for Enhancement Package

Greetings.

I was asked to install EhP4 (but planning to install EhP5) for our ERP (ABAP only) 6.0. Our system is currently in SPS13 (yes, quite old, I know, sorry).

Mopz (EhP1) is automatically calculated the download queue and will perform the following tasks:

SAP ERP 6.0 will be upgraded to SPS19

Netweaver 7.0 will be upgraded to EHP2 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0

EhP5 will be installed, up to SPS 04.

Using Mopz or SAP Service Marketplace I can generate a Side Effect Report for SPS13 -> SPS19, but I can't find how to request or generate a this report for the whole upgrade process.

Is there a way to request this Side Effect Report ?

Thank you very much for your reply.

I checked your post before asking, and I couldn't find how to request it for my whole upgrade scenario. Just for the SPS upgrade.

If there is a way where to request it considering the three updates, NW EhP2, ERP SPS19 and ERP EhP5, I couldn't find it. Would you be so kind to guide me how could this be achieved ?

Hi Elvis,

Please follow the below steps

Go to Tcode > SOLMAN_WORKCENTER > CHANGE MANAGEMENT > CREATE NEW MAINTENANCE TRN. > SELECT SYSTEM > CHOOSE OPTION MAINTENANCE > Calculate whole constellation for a specific system > in the step IMPLEMENT you will get option to download SIDE EFFECT REPORT [Please see below screen shot] > Click on Submit button and then you will get an email with SIDE EFFECT REPORT FROM SAP [SAP Uses email ID which was linked in Suser and Suser which was linked with Solution Manager]

Hi,

Side effect report you can request to apply support package or EHP's, but there is no side effect report for upgrade process.

If you need Side effect report for EHP's, then you can get it from MOPZ.

How to install EhP4 using MOPZ:

During the MOPZ request process itself, the side effect report is automatically mailed to the S-User's mail ID.

Or in the "Implement" Phase of the MOPZ transaction: The Maintenance Optimizer shows a list of the packages confirmed. Here,
