I am building a new BOE XI 3.1 SP4 server and about after 10 days working properly, now the SAP authentication does not show as an option for InfoView. It does show for CMC, and it works properly from there.
As a can remember, the only change I made was, while debuging another problem while configuring Windows AD and SSO, I turned off the SAP authenticaiotn on the CMS authorization tab, then turned if back on later on. Not sure how it could affect infoView.
BOE XI 3.1 SP4
BOE Integration for SAP 3.1 SP4
Tomcat 5.5
Windows 2008 R2
SAP GUI 7.2
BW Server running SAP GUI 7.0
All discussion I saw so far talks about Java Connector 2.1.8 needed to make it work properly. The Java Connector is 2.1.10, and it was working properly before, so I am not sure if it is an issue.
Any suggestion to where to look into?
Thanks,
Marco

Yes, redeploying Tomcat solved the issue. For some reason, some Tomcat files were either missing or corrupted. I did not want to go to the webdeploy way, so I run the SP4 again to redeploy Tomcat. Running the Integration for SAP SP4 did not work for that, but the BOE SP4 copied all needed files and then redeployed it. After that it is working fine.

Hi,
does it still work when you logon to the CMC with a SAP User?
If yes i guess you have to redeploy InfoView using wdeploy. Check SAP Note - 1431655
