Need help: Supress GroupSummary in CrossTab

Hello everybody,

I need some help with CrossTabs, where I have several row and multiple group summaries. Lets say I have the following structure:

            column 1                        || column 2                       || column 3
row 1       grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3  || grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3 ||  grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3
row 2       grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3  || grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3 ||  grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3
row 3       grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3  || grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3 ||  grpSum 1 | grpSum 2 | grpSum 3

In column 1 and column 2 I want to supress grpSum 3, but in column 3, which is a inserted row, I need grpSum 3. I can supress grpSum 3 in column 1 and column 2 by using supress in the formatting section, but if I do so only its content is supressed. The space for grpSum 3 is still reserved. How can I "delete" the reserved space in column 1 and column 2 or is something like that impossible?

Regards

If you right click Cross Tab and got to CT Expert - Customise tab

Here you can suppress column and row total as required.

Thank you for your advice Ian, but I don't have totals that I can suppress. The whole column even can't be suppressed, because I have at least two summaries that have to be shown. The problem is that I cannot delete the space in each column that resides if I suppress a group summary.

In the same location as I mentioned before you cn uncheck show cell margins. Its not very nice to look at but may allow you to suppress columns completely.

Sorry, but I don't want to suppress a whole column. I want to suppress a group summary and I also want crystal not to draw space in that column. So I want CR to draw two group summaries in columns 1 and 2 and three in column 3:

column 1 || column 2 || column 3

field 1 | field 2 || field 1 | field 2 || field 1 | field 2 | field 3

I need that third field for calculation purposes in the last column.
