Cost Center Hierarchy Missing

Hi All,

We are interested in extracting standard cost center hierarchy from R/3 but we don't see the root cost center group/hierarchy that represents standard hierarchy in the info package when we click on 'Available Hierarchies from OLTP' button. I see several cost center groups that are nodes in the standard hierarchy and I also don't see few cost center groups that are nodes in the standard hierarchy. What needs to be done to make the standard hierarchy appear in the infopackage listing of available hierarchies for extraction.

Regards

    Simba,

if you see only a few hierarchies, then try the refresh botton "Available Hierarchies from OLTP". If you have a lot of hierarchies or big ones, reading the hierarchies can take quite a while.

The root nodes have the technical name <controlling area><hierarchy id>.

Another point in cost center hierarchies is that the extractor only shows those hierarchies that are top nodes. Otherwise you would see too many hierarchies because every node in a cost center hierarchy is technically a group/hierarchy of itself. So if you don't see your standard hierarchy go to KSH3 and check if the group is used in another hierarchy. You can then find this hierarchy (or it is used in yet another one and so on).

      Best regards
