Changing BSP Theme

Former Member

I have edited the tradeshow theme with the eclipse themeseditor to a custom theme.

Because I do not have the SAP portal, I have uploaded the customized theme directory structure from the workspace into the same directory where the standard themes are located.

When I use sap-themeRoot=sap_chrome or sap_tradeshow those themes are taken.

But when I take sap-themeRoot=myTheme my system just show sap_tradeshow.

What does a theme explicitly need that it is recognized correctly? The customized theme has a few folders more and no version information.

Thanks in advance

Hi Sebastian,

I hope that my last weblog can help you on this:

<a href="/people/sap.user72/blog/2005/04/12/bsphowto-css-hints--custom-design-for-your-bsp-applications: CSS Hints - Custom Design for your BSP Applications</a>

Go through it, if you have any questions to it, feel free to ask.

Thx.

I solved the problem. The standart themes do not need the full path in sap-themeRoot. The custom themes do.

So now it works.

Thank You

Well I found a document for changing webdynpro themes. So I tried to modify a common theme and using a portal theme instead of the normal ones. and thats the problem i think.

You will find about Web Dynpro editing here:
