HCM Performance Management -- Free Enhancements

I am using a number of free enhancement in the appraisal document. The customer have a role of Higher Manager (Manager + 1) who is required to approve the objectives and final ratings.

During the InPlanning phase when the the document is viewed by the Higher Manager (manager +1) the buttons add & delete (from the free enhancements) are visible to the higher manager. I have alreadh checked no changes during the config. Still, these buttons are not required. How do you hide or remove them.

Hi,

from my experience there is no possibility to hide the add/delete buttons. As soon as you are using the free enhancement BadI and Deletion of a element theses buttons appear.

If you are using hap_main_document WebDynpro Application to display theses appraisals in the portal, you can enhance this WD app and hide theses buttons.

I guess you will have to make changes to the Webdynpro based iviews to hide or disable these buttons. Please get in touch with the webdynpro consultant for more info.

Hi,

To handle this there is the method CHECK_EXECUTABILITY which is part of the free enhancement badi definition. Just put it to hide in case it is the higher manager.

No webdynpro changes needed, should work straight out of the box
