Credit Card Numbers disappear

I have a client who entered credit card numbers in the Business Partner Master form, but now some of the credit card numbers are displayed as encrypted data and some of them disappeared. My client is using SAP B1 8.8 PL 19 HotFix 1. They did not check the Mask Credit Card Number box in the Company Details form.

I tested the credit card payment process. When I added an incoming payment and used the Credit Card tab in the Payment means form, the credit card number disappeared from the Business Partner Master form.

Hello Rahul,

I tried that before I entered this question in the Forum. The data stayed in the Business Partner Master after I entered it again. But, why did the data disappear the first time? I found an SAP message about this after I entered this question and they claim to have fixed it in 8.8 PL 18 and 20. So, I guess I will have to upgrade to PL 20 to see if it fixes the problem.

Ya. An upgradation may solve your problem.

But before going for final upgradtion I would suggest you to go for Test DB Upgradation...........

If problem solved then go for Live DB upgradation.

But Problem will be solved 99%

Hi Bill........

Have you tried adding it again into the business partner Master Data?

Please update the credit card details in Master again and try to add Incoming Payment.......
