What is the significance of the layout in the report?

How do we set a layout?

This is for personalizing the output result of the report. You can specify your own layout as per your requirement.

Layout can be globel or user specific. Globel layout should start with forward slash (/) followed by layout name and user specific layout should start with "U_" followed by login id.

How to setup your own layout

1. Execute the report by Clicking F8

2. Press Crtl+F8 and rearrange the columns

3. Press F5 and Enter layout name and description

4.Click on User Specific and Default if the layout name is starting with "U_"

5. If the layout is globel then just Click on Default.

Go back to the initial screen(SAP Easy Access) and then run report again. The report will display data as per your layout.

Hi,

In Change Layout pop up window, select the cloumn name & click arrow keys in the top of that pop up window based on your requirement.

Hi,

When we execute any report , we have option to selecr layout before executing or after excecute( f8)

layout is used to default for all user or deafualt for user specific so that only field are selected which we want in report

layoot can be created as follow

execute any report

then click on

layout symbol or CTRL + F8

now the window appear to is displayed column and set column

displayed column are the column which are currently displyed in report , we can select the more field in report from set column

after selcting the desired field save the layout with some name ,whether for user specific or default

next time u can select this layout before executing and even after executing from setting --- get ---

or you can default so that every time when you execute the report your desired field displayed in report
