Reuse of 0IC_C03 Inventory cube

Hello All,

In our BI system, Inventory cube 0IC_C03 was installed and data load was happening for the same in 2007 and 2008.

Now Source system is changed and now we want to load data from new system.

what all are the steps, to reuse 0IC_C03 .

Hi,

Are you planning to archive 2007 and 2008 data in BW?

Establish connectivity between new source and BW.

Create a data flow between your Cube and the datasource.

Initialize your DS and you must be knowing the further steps..........

Hello ,

We don't want to archive 2007 and 2008 data.

We will delete that data from cube.

But now we want to fetch data from new source system .

I could see many forums and articles on net regarding installation of inventory in BI, But as Inventory cube is already installed in our case,what are the exact steps we need to follow.

Hi,

From my point of view, its better to reinstall from your new Source system. Then it will overwrite your existing Cube which inturn will not harm your flow too.

It may not be interesting to you, but its required to avoid future inconsistencies between your New Source system and your BW system.
