Error during installation

Hi All,

We are going to install new NW 2004s system on HP UX PA RISC 64 bit system with id BWT but after entering system id details,password details,databse id info we are getting error as:

Account bwtadm already exists.

Account 20 already exists.

ERROR 2011-07-20 11:45:55

CJS-30160 The primary group of user 'bwtadm' is not correct. It should be 'sapsys', but is 'users'.

Also please note that already one istance with name BWC is running on same host that is also NW2004s.We are selecting usage type BI Java ,AS Java ,EP,AS ABAP so as to have BW system installed.

we have checked and found no where btwadm/orabwt existing at OS level.

Could someone please assist on this issue.

Have you checked the file etc/passwd also for this user information and group?

Hi Subhash,

That's right bwtadm and orabwt users were already created by PS team while creating file systems and their info mwas present in /etc/passwd.Byde fault their group was users and so we were getting error.

After getting changed the default group of bwtadm to sapsys and that of orabwt to dba problem gets solved.
