BOM for Different Months

Hi all,

Here in our scenario we need to maintain different bill of materials for one finished goods using alternative BOM. When i give Planned Independent Requirement for FG for 6 months, for every month it has to take different alternative BOM at the time of MRP run.Like i have created 4 rawmaterial in 1st alternative, 6 raw for 2nd alternative like that i have maintained 6 alternative with different quantities and materials, when i run mrp run for FG i want for 1 st month it has to take 1st alternative with 4 raw materials, like for 2nd month it has take 2nd alternative bom. Can any body give a solution.

Dear SANDIP,

Kindly make different production version with different validity dates e.g.

Production version 001 Alternative BOM 01 Valid from 20072011 Valid to 25072011

Production version 002 Alternative BOM 02 Valid from 25072011 Valid to 28072011

Production version 003 Alternative BOM 03 Valid from 28072011 Valid to 30129999

and also maintain required parameters in production versions and then execute MRP run.
