Option for carry forword and encash

Dear Experts,

My client wants to make Management decision to make whether balance Annual leave will be carry forward or leave encashment?

Every year, this will be decided by the management. How can i do this?? Any one can share ur experience knowledge ?

Hi manjula athul,

if it is so , you need to write a PCR to carry fwd, which enable to carry fwd your leaves for the next year.(here u can encash the leaves as and when u required manually thru 0416 IT if you configured.)

if system wants to encash defaultly then it can be done thru the PCR only, so you cant do both at a time.

Both functions cant be work at a time. So u need to deactivate u r PCR (any one of it) in the schema as and when you required.

How and in which way does the client want to take the decision is it throught SAP or outside. Does your managment want to know the Leaves that have been avalied by the employees at the end of the year does they want to see them or it is just about the decision

managment will decide for the particular end of year whether they are going to leave encashment or leave carryforword.bassed on that we need to do the process in the SAP system.how can i make the decisio

n in PCR.

I have to pass the flag in PCR bassed on the decision ,now im strugling how can i pass the flag to use IF condition.

Any Idea pls..

You need to check with you r company wether they want to encash or carry forward based on that you can set condition in PCR

if you want to carryforward then

HRS=LXXXX(get balance stored in timetype on dec 31st)

ADDDBXXXX(this time time will be assigned to leave quota base entilement) so as soon as you use this then quota will carryforward

HRS=LXXXX

ADDZLXXXX(the balance will be send to ZL table and timewagetype, so when you run payroll this amount will get paid/encash)

You can go with PCR for your requirement

Write PCR to get the remaining leave balance at the end of the year dec 31 2011 and put it in one time typeu2026

FRXXC use this function to fetch the leave balance and store it in a time type

HRS=FRXXC

ADDDBXXXX

The second step is decide wether you want to carry forward or encash

In case of carry forward get the balance stored in time type and update it on 1st jan so that the remaining balance will be carryforward

Incase of encash get the balance of leaves and send the days to be paid to timewagetype for payment

HRS=XXXX

Thz for your response, what you suggest is fine but my concern is how i can make the decision in the system whether Annual leave will be encash or carry forword?

Assume that decision has taken to give leave encash to all employee so how system will identify..

as u said, i can go for PCR.. but i want to put IF condition to make decision whether employee going to get leave encashment or carryforword..

How can put this decition flag.

any one have idea.. pls share it..
