Server Proxy creation

Hi Gurus,

Im creating a server proxy in se80 from the message interface created in SAP PI 7.0.

When I right click on the server proxy,i gave service provider option.

The type of Service provider I gave is ESR Service Interface and I gave transport request.

This created the server proxy.

When I opened SOAManager to create the Service Endpoint. I could not see my service proxy in the category Service.

I thought if I create the Service endpoint ,I can call this URL using SOAP adapter from PI.

Do i need to publish the webservice using WSPUBLISH before creating the service endpoint. If I need to publish the webservice it is asking me for the Service Registry and this only available in PI 7.1.

Can you please tell me how I can call the Service provider created in SAP ECC system from PI and why my server created created is not visible in SOAMANAGER.

Thanks,

Jay.

From SOAMANAGER -> Single Service Configuration -> Select Service -> Configurations tab -> Create Endpoint -> Specify a unique name for the endpoint -> Apply Settings
