How to give values to variables in bex analyser using command range.

Hi Gurus,

I have a copy planning function with three variables. One for source fuscal period, one for target fiscal period and a third customer exit variable for Version.

1. Source fiscal period.

2. Target fiscal period.

3. Customer exit varibale for Version.

Now when i execute it in bex analyser it is not asking for variable inputs. I read that we have to use command range witht he button for copy fuction. does it really work.

I would really appreciate if anybody could shed light on this issue.

Thanking you,

Jerry Jerome

Hi All,

The variable is a range variable for fiscal period. I have given Var_name, var_name_low and var_name_high in the button properties. In the Bex Analyser I have given var_name_low,0,value and var_name_high,0,value ans still it is throwing error. The error is:

You have to enter values before you execute and

Specify a value for variable source fiscal period.

Please help.

Thanking you,

Jerry

Hello,

You can try this:

Create a query with all required variables(1. Source fiscal period.2. Target fiscal period.3. Customer exit varibale for Version). Creat a work book with command button in first sheet, In secound sheet add query using design button/mode and hide this sheet.

Once you click the refresh or variable button then all the variable which you have use in query it will display. Enter all values and click Command button.

Thanks.
