storage BIN location

Pls. let me know where can I enable the storage BIN location in MM01.

Hi

You have field called storage bin in MM01 under Plant data / Stor 1 view. But it has no control only used within MM for printing the Bin location within storage location. It is just for information.

If you want to use the storage Bin functionality then you need to go for Warehous Management.

in case of warehouse management module and fixed bin go to WM 2 view. > storage bin stock

if it is not WM module and fixed bin save it as text in storage location view.

if it is not fixed bin , we do not maintain storage bin. SAP will deteremine it by through putaway and piking strategy in WM

it is same. go to MM01 and in warehouse management view 2 you can save it there if warehouse managembt module is there.

and if WM module is not there go to plant/ storage location view 1. there is field called storage bin
