OLD Data correction for 2LIS_03_BF

Hi All,

I have enhanced 2LIS_03_BF data source with 3 new fields.

After Production move I am able to see the data for these 3 fields through DELTA update.

But OLD records has "#" values for these NEW enhanced fields.

How can I Correct the Data at cube level.

Hi BM,

Because old data were loaded before enhancement, so no values are available for new fields in cube.

By the way before any kind of assignment you should ask to business that are they looking for historical data or not? If they are looking for historical data then you have refresh the whole data in BW and load it again from source system.

Kindly note that if you are going for re-load then as it is logistic data source then it will required downtime.

Hi BMR,

If you need historical data for 3 new fields,then you should delete data from CUBE and DSO.

1)delete and fill the setup tables in R3.

2)Do the init IP with data transfer(If need daily delta and you think this init with data will run for longtime then run init without data transfer from next day onwards your Delta will run fine).

3)to get historical data you can full-repair with out disturbing your delta.

Hi BMR,

Here you have two options.

1. You want see histrical data for that new records also if Yes.

Delete your connencts in cube and do re-init with data transfer.

2. You don't want see histrical data for that new records

do re-init without data transfer .

Next time when you run the delta you will get the data.

Hi,

You have to delete the contents of the cube to get the history data for New fields.

R/3 Side: You have to initialize your DS nothing but deleting and filling up setup tables

BI Side: Do init with data transfer option. So that all the history data for new fields as well as existing fields
