BI ABAP and JAVA integration

Hi All,

Scneraio:

We are having BI 7.0 EHP1 and we are planning to upgrade it to BI 7.3.

And we will be installing BI 7.3 Java Directly.

We are on Solaris and Oracle 10.2.

Doubts:

1. What are the steps for intergrating ABAP and Java.

2. And do we need to upgrade our Oracle also?

Thanks

Goldy

    Hi,

For the integration steps, please follow the installation guide at http://service.sap.com/instguides -> SAP Netweaver 7.3

The integration is normally done by running an automated template from the Netweaver Administrator.

NW 7.3 support only Oracle 11.2 as per the PAM http://service.sap.com/pam so you would need to upgrade the database too.

    Regards,

    Srikishan
