Hi,
Can anyone tell what is the limit on Mediclaim in IT - 0585 U/S 80D ??
What is the outter limit for that???
Regards,
Prasad Lad
Dear Venky,
0585- Section 80 Ded is helps us to give the proposal contribution to exempt from the tax.
The limit is different to the different activity.
Ex. for Medical - 15000
for long term infra bond - 20000,
as like infotype itself shows u the upper limit in the limit column for the each contribution.
thank yu

Hi,
In my case I have maintained the below things nd getting some different vaules in Agg Chap VI
Medical Insr Premium (Non-Senior Ctz)
Medical Insr Premium(Parents senior citizen)
Medical Insr Premium (Senior Citizen)
Medical Insr Premium( Parents non-senior Ctz)
Is it that when i maintain all the above the caluclation is different ???
Regards,
Prasad Lad
Prasad,
Medical Insr Premium (Non-Senior Ctz)
Medical Insr Premium(Parents senior citizen)
Medical Insr Premium (Senior Citizen)
Medical Insr Premium( Parents non-senior Ctz)
All 4 entries will not be applicable at the same time. That is either employee can be a senior cition or non-senior, in same way parents can be senior citizen or non senior. Since you have maintained all 4 at one time, system is not able to calculate it. MAintain it correctly, you will get the expected result.
Hi,
Actually the User is trying with all these scenario & i told him its wrong to maintain like this. But i wanted to be more sure so tried asking you all
But I gave him different employee created in the DEV so that he can test diff scenarios on different employees or it will be problem.
Thanks for your help. I think we can close this forum.

Prasad Lad
