how to change the description of Transaction Type

hi ,expert

i want to change the description of Tansaction type.

eg, change the description of BUS2200 :'RFx ' to 'RFQ' .

please give me some advice. thanks in advance.

Hi Claud,

Go to SPROSRM ServerCross App Basic SettingsNumber rangesDefine transaction typesSelect BUS2200 and double click on transaction typesHere you will see BID (transaction type)--Just double click on this and in the screen that follows change the description.

PS: The system will generate a transport request.

i think i don't describe the request clearly.

if we create RFx document, eg, we want to display 'Create My_RFQ : 510000009' in spite of 'Create RFx :51000009' in the top-left RFx Document.

i think maybe we should change the description of Bus2200 , am i right?

Theoretically yes. That's the field you want to change. But my guess is that you can not change it as it is defined as display-only by SAP. Let us know how it works out for you.
