Using Commands in Buttons in BEx Analyzer Design

Dear Gurus,

My customer requirement is to see report in three versions( year, quarter, month).

I want to create workbook in Analyzer with three buttons.

Each button gets different set of time variables from query global filter, it gives end user possibility to select adequate report.

What commands put in static parameters of every button?

I inserted below commands but it doesn`t work

DATA_PROVIDER 0 DATA_PROVIDER_1

CMD 0 PROCESS_VARIABLES

VAR_NAME 0 ZVAR1

VAR_NAME 0 ZVAR2

Could anyone help me?
