Tax field not visible in MMR and CMR

Hi everyone

Kindly help me in solving this problem. In MM01 and XD01 i.e creation of material and cutomer master data I am unable to find the fields liable for tax. What configuration should I do in FICO so that these screen fields appear and I would than be able to fill the fields and confirm that the material or customer is liable/not liable for tax.

Thanks

Ravi

    Hi Ravi,

Transaction code OVK1, Go to new entries

    Specify tax country (IN)

    Sequence (1) and

    Tax category (MWST)

    Just save and exit

    Hi ,

For customer goto OBD2. Click on your account group.

Then click on field status-sales area data-billing.

Here make taxes and licenses as required or optional.

For material goto OMS9 and make the changes there.

    Hi,

    Do the following steps:

    Step1:

SPRO- SD - BF - Taxes - Define Tax determination rules

Here, click on New Entries, and maintain the the Tax country, Sequence (Sequence in which you want the condition types to appear in Material master), Tax category (The tax condition type).

    Save it.

    Step 2:

SPRO- SD - BF - Taxes - Define Tax relevancy of Master Records

    Select Customer Taxes first

Here click on new entries, enter the condition type and give appropriate values (Ex: 0-non taxable, 1- taxable @ 5%, etc)

    Save it.

Similarly maintain for Material Taxes also and save.

These settings would be enough to make them come in your material master and customer master.

Note: Make sure that the order of your condition types is same in Material master and Customer Master. Else the condition records would not be properly picked.

Let me know if you are still facing issues.
