Query PLD

Hai Expert,

I am trying to create PLD for query reports , for my Query sales register i create a PLD . but the problem is that I can't adjust the width of each column it shows - one column very large size and all other one are not adequate width display its details.

Help me please

Hi tgjaneesh,

You have to doit. Follow this steps.

1.Run Query

2.Go To Query Print Layout Designer

3.Dubble Click on your Report Name

4.Right Click on PLD & Click on Display Properties here adjust whole report Width & hight.

5.For Each feild select each )ith (CTRL key) field you have to assign same hight & width.

6.After selection Go To Properties field on right side window.

7.In Properties Window in General Tab assign value in Hight, Width, Left & Top option.

8.Go To Formate Tab assign value in Horizontal, Varticle & Linebraker option.

Hai Gordon,

In detail , in my Sales register contains ( Date , Name of party, Document Total ) I got preview but it displays in wrong size ie, date column and total column width is too little size so i can't get full amount in print only shows a part of the field

I didn't know how to adjust the width .In PLD only one filled for the three columns so single width and height for all three column bu the all three are in different width ..how to clear this..?.

Please check PRINT LAYOUT DESIGNER - DISPLAY DOCUMENT PROPERTIES - PAPER FORMAT

PRINTER

PAPER SIZE

HEIGHT

WIDTH ETC. SETTINGS

You may get some hint.
