Crystal Report Header and Details section to be within the same page

Hi

How can I put the header and details section start within the same page.

As in not to have a header by it self then details in a new page.

I have use the keep 'keep together' option, some how, it can not keep together header and details.

I'm having the same problem with not groups but wanting to keep Detail A and Detail B together.  What was the steps you ended up using to fix the problem?

In change group options. I think you have checked both repeat group header on new page and keep together.

Try unchecking Keep group together. If group is too big for page it tries next page before starting to print.

Was wondering where to find the change group option, i got the crystal report version 12.

Right click in the section details area of the report on the Group Header. Select Change Group and then options tab.

My report dont have group or group header,

Its got following sections;

Report Header

Details

..Detail a

..Detail b

Report Footer

I want Report Header and Details to be stay together.

Whta have you got in the Detials sections, do you have any large text, charts or images. Format these and uncheck keep together.

Do you have new page before checked on any of the sections (check section expert)
