hi Andreas,

you can assign material to a particular project task if its available in stock. Sign in using warehouse1p id and then go to internal logistics. Then under common tasks you can you will find an option "consumption for the project"

But I think we cannot do cost planning based on the same.:)

Hi,

yes I know about the possibility to assign a material to a project task (as well in sales order) but what I meant, there is no check if the material is already in stock when you create a purchase request for projects. You have to check manually if the requested material is in stock or if you have to order it.

But that was just a general comment and has basically nothing to do with "material based project planning", so I created another thread in german ideas forum

Hi,

I`m also interessted in this feature. In general I would like a deeper integration of materials in project management (e.g. purchasing for projects with check if requested product is already in stock... )
