Remainder and continuous escalation mails for deadline - SRM 7.0


I have the requirements as below for deadline notification in SRM 7.0.

1) After three (3) days of receiving the work item the system sends reminder mail to the approving agent holding the work item.

2) After five (5) days of receiving the work item the system sends an escalation mail to the next approval level. Thereafter continuous escalation mail will be sent every two days until the work item is actioned.

How can we acheive this ?

      You need to create the Z- Report something like Offline (approval email) send program..

      Step 1:

      Read all dead line attained workitem


      Either via Z table logic or config table logic you need to calculate the time and prepare the list of workitem needs remainder for that particulate date, min and sec..


      Use standard functional call to send out the emails..

      Note: I am running this as a job in 5 min frequencyu2026 I would say itu2019s up to your business requirement to decide the job frequency...
