GLAccount Address

Hi ,

Could anybody reply me with teh SAp table that holds address details for GLAccounts.

I could not find any address details maintenance in the master tables neither an option

to maintain address details for gl acccounts through FS00.

Clearly explaining your business requirement.?

You want to ask Gl a/c short ,long test details? But address has maintaining in vendor ,customer ,Asset master.

there is a requirement to maintain GL Account address in areport based on company code.

we have a plan to maintain a custom table as per the require ment

But , I was just research-ng about the fact :: incase SAP provides us any such table with GLAccount and its addresses.

Address like : Street address ,, PO-BOX etc ...

Although i know GL account cooresponds to either a Vendor/ Customer Account and itself doesnot carry any

provision to maintain any address. None of the master data tables have the option to store GL Account address.

Yet I would like to check my knowledge here . Inacse there are any way out

Some transaction COde which has the way to maintain these address

Some fields in transactions to maintain any text : like FS00

Any help is useful.

for GL accounts : Short / long text details are maintained where ?

U mean to say XK03 / FK03 , XD03 provide an option to enter GLACCOUNT address ?

Hi,

Please note that there is difference in Vendor/Customer Master and GL Master. Vendor/Customer Master are Subsidiary Accounts whereas, GL Masters are the Main Accounts.

The use of address in Vendor/Customer master is to communicate with them like Balance confirmation, Dunning, etc. This is not required for a GL Master as it is internal within the company.

We may accommodate the address in some field in the GL Master but, it neither has any purpose nor any meaning.

There is no functionality in SAP to store address of the GL master.

You can create your own custom table as a copy of table ADRC and include a field GL account number also. You can store the address of gl here and then can use this table in your custom report.
