Hello all,
We know that alerts can be raised in case of application/network Issues. But is it possible to receive alerts in case of successful scenarios? If so, please explain me how to go
Thanks,
Regards,
Moorthy
Hi,
Its not possible to raise alert in the successful case, but if you want to trigger mail when file placed in receiver system, develop a shell script and define it in After OS command receiver file adapter

Hi,
If needed an alerts for successful message processing .
1.You can look for Mail adapter...(create separate receiver along with origninal receiver and adapter as mail and select maintain Order at Runtime checkbox..)
2. you can use RFC SALERT_xxx... for generating Alerts..can invoke explictly at mapping level or as an RFC using RFC adapter...
so can use either of the above for generating the same...

The intent of alerts for the fatal or critical events. Not for the happy flow or successful message processing. So , If you need for a special case for an interface, then you might think about sending mail as acknowledgement.

Hi Moorthy,
It is not possible to generate alerts for sucessfull process of message. Instead, if you would like to trigger an E-mail.. in some cases like after placing the file in the receiver FTP or so.. you can attain this by doing through BPM.
Thanks,

Alert for successfull message is not possible using alert framework.
instead of alert You can create ACK by using standard interface and adapter(like sending a mail)
If you require this for a particular business critical interface then you can do this.
Also PI 7.1 has monitoring process in BPm to monitor business critical interface. You can also try to explore this feature.
Creating Monitoring Process with PI 7.1
A monitoring process is a special kind of integration process that you use as part of Business Activity Monitoring (BAM). We use a monitoring process to monitor the milestones in a business process. The business process can be distributed across multiple applications. When a milestone is reached, the applications each publish events, to which a central monitoring process is subscribed.
