After MIGO, PO has been Unreleasing through ME29N

Hi,

I create a PO and release it through ME29N. After that done Goods Receipt through MIGO.

After MIGO, now when want to change it through ME22N, system showing msg - Purchasing document has release indicator 9 (changes not possible).

But when we are trying it to unreleased through ME29N, we can do so easily. How it's possible, even we have set release indicator as 1.

Please guide...

For any Changes in PO ,you have to de-release from authorized person otherwise anybody can play with the PO ,better to keep this control.

Keeping release Indicator 1 in line with the Release status will not allow the PO to be changed in ME22N . But it will not prevent from Unreleasing a PO even if GR /MIRO has hapened .To prevent this User exits enhancements are to be configured.

If the P.O has been printed out, it cannot be cancelled using ME29N.

Infact you will get this message Document has already been outputted (function not possible)

Hi,

What sailesh has suggested is a good idea .If you will set Message No.ME175 as Error than after getting output of the PO the Unrelease of the PO will be prevented . But if the user will get the output by clicking Trial Print out in ME9F this message will not be applicable .Only output is got by clicking "Output Message" button than this will apply.

For User exits or Custom enhancements please consult your ABAP consultant.

We have maintain Message No.ME175 as Error.

After that I create a PO and set messages for Print out. Then release it through ME29N and take printout.

Then, create goods receipt through MIGO.

Even after taking print out, we are able to Unreleased the PO through ME29N.

Please guide.

Hi

Go to OLME -> Environment Data -> Define System Attributes -> Choose System Messages.

Here Set your Message as E in category field. You can also check Table T160M
