data upload

hai all,

we r required to load 3 years of r/3 data into the bw.

as the data is huge we r planing to load it in 3 parts,

i.e. for each year one load,

so we are loading the SD Billing data i.e. using LO 2lis_13_vditm.

during the setup table, there are only option to enter

sales org, division, sales document number.

but not the sales document creation date,

so is there any other apprach to load 1 year of data at a time.

any help appreciated

thanx in adv

    Hi,

load everything to the setup tables and restrict your data load in the infopackage. Take care about possible changes to old data even if it is not very common to change old invoices.

      Hi,

did you setup your datasource with the fkdat or erdat as a select-option? This is necessary to get the possibility to restrict data loads on this field.

If not, you need to change this in lbwe and replicate the datasource. Additionally you need I think you need to create a new infopackage.

If yes, just do your first run with the date restricted to e.g. 2002, the second for 2003 and the third for 2004.

      Hope this helps,

      regards

      Siggi
