Unable to download the product hierarchy R3PRODHIER from ECC to CRM

Hi,

I am tryin to download the product hierarchy R3PRODHIER from ECC to CRM

The numbering scheme (R3PRODHIER) in CRM matches precisely to the structure of the product hierarchy in SAP ERP (structure PRODHS) wrt to the number of levels and the number of digits for each level. We have Seven levels in the product hierarchy.

When I trigger the download using the laod object DNL_CUST_PROD1, the product hierarchy R3PRODHIER doesnt get downloaded to CRM. Morever, no errors are reported in SMQ1 and SMQ2 and the load object status is green.

What could be the possibe reason for this??

Please help!!!!

Best Regards,

Roshan

    Hi Roshan,

You may check if the R/3 product hierarchy contains special characters like "+" (please check R/3 table "PRODHS") . If so , check note 432339. You can find the solution for your problem in points 6 and 7 in the note.

    • Hello Roshan

      Please kindly check the following customizing in your system;

      1. In the R/3 system analayse the structure of the product hierarchy, by viewing the structure PRODHS with transaction SE11. The field lengths of the fields in the structure PRODHS define the number of hierarchy levels. The SAP standard is 5-5-8.

      2. This scheme must also be maintained in CRM. Please call transaction COMMPR05 and create a numbering scheme called R3PRODHIER. You need to define number of levels exactly the same as

      in R/3. (Level 1 = 5,

      Level 2 = 5 and

      Level 3 = 8). Save your entries.

The number of levels and the number of digits for each level must be the same in both systems

      3. Carry out the initial download of customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1 again.

Please also check that there are no incosistency between the value of the SCHEME_GUID field for hierarchy R3PRODHIER in tables COMM_HIERARCHY and COMC_SCHEME (these are both CRM tbales). These values must be equal.

If they are not, you can delete the hierarchy by running report comm_hierarchy_delete_single; afterwards, it should be possible

      to download the object.

      ,

      Thanks

      Willie
