aggregates

hello

I'm trying to fill aggreagtes and always it is timing out

how to fill aggregates in back ground.

    Hi Meps,

    according to the SAP Help all the aggregates are build in the background. Are you sure yours run in dialog?

    Hi meps,

    To fill aggregate in background choose menu aggregate > 'Activate and Fill' > Select Fill aggregate. The Execution Time of Aggregation dialog box appears > later > specify the date & time.

    The timeout occurs because of large amount of data you are trying to load in the cube or trying to load multiple aggregates at same time.

    I will recommend you to fill your aggregates on weekend, as there will minimum load on BIW .

    If this also didn't work try creating an aggregate with lesser number of fields.
