Production order over 24 hours split delivery to production

Hi All

When you have an production order that spans multiple days ByD expects all items that are input to moved to production.

I am trying find a way where the input items can moved to production is smaller quantities on different days. This is purely a logistics issue whereby the location cannot handle all of the inputs in one move.

But looks like any changes to requirement dates changes across all items.

Any suggestions appreciated

Hi Raj,

you can either manually trigger the replenishment of components from the production order UI itself and then adjust the quantities accordingly (this can also be done multiple times for the same production order) or you can set up replenishment rules with a constant replenishment quantity and schedule a daily replenishment run. The only drawback I see is that you might end up with some leftover quantities in case the required component quantitiy is not a multiple of the constant replenishment quantitiy.
