Transfer data from one cube to another cube in BW 3.5

Dear Experts,

We have a peculiar situation for which we need your valuable inputs. We are currently workign on a BW 3.5 system and have to transfer data from one cube to a copy of the original cube( history - Say B).

When we generate the export datasource on the original cube ( say A) we notice that the datasource has already been generated earlier and is assigned to a manually created infosource. This manually created infosource does not seem to map all fields of the cube A and hence we cannot use this infosource for the load to history cube - B.

Now we are faced with a situation whether to delete the datasource assigment to the manually generated infosource and use the generated infosource? this would mean tampering with the existing data flow which the client does not want.

Can you suggest a way to transfer data from one cube to another( both replicas) in BW 3.5. My knowledge on 3.5 is very limited.

Thanks ,

Solomon

    you could just add the missing objects to the existing infosource (and map them). this way all fields are mapped and the existing flow is not changed

    Hi,

    You load the data A to some other Table using with Open Hub after the you can create one data source in BI side and load it to B.

    using with that table.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Venkat.
