Update Mode R

Hello everyone,

We have a setup where Master data is loaded into ZMAT_SALE from 0MAT_SALES_ATTR.

It was working fine until yesterday.Now there is a problem in the daily delta data load.The error message is "Update Mode R is not supported by service API".I do not understand the reason for this sudden error and the solution.

I have analyzed the short dump.Short dump shows DBFIRE or duplicate records error.I know when this error occurs and tried to solve but in vain.UPDATE MODE R is something iam unable to track and solve.

Any thoughts on this please.

have you 0RECORDMODE or OSTORNO objects in your infosource ?

To call up documentation on 0RECORDMODE (BW Delta process: Update mode), call Transaction SE11, display data type RODMUPDMOD -> Pushbutton Documentation.

Here you will find more useful information on the five possible features for InfoObject 0RECORDMODE (space,X,A,D,R).
