Data Flow from Infocubes

Dear All,

is it possible to transfer data from an infocube to another one.

I have the update rule active but I dont know how to create a package that performs this data flow.

Thanks a lot,

R.C.

To update data from the first InfoCube to another one you

need to generate an Export DataSource for the first

InfoCube. Then you use this DataSource to update the

second Cube in a usual way.

I followed the steps anyway when I go into the source systems menù and I choose my BW S.S. the tree is empty when I open it. I tried to replicate and activate but it still empty.

Only that Roberto needs to perform these steps in the BW. There is a transaction SBIW too and there you can maintain the application hierarchy. Other things that you might need to do:

Activate Application components DM and DM-IO from business content.

In RSA1 choose Settings - Display Generated Objects - Show Generated (ODS) Objects

Don't let the ODS mislead you, I guess it is a translational mistake. This shows all generated Objects like Export Data Sources etc.

      Best regards

      Dirk
