New User -> Install Issue to Production Server

We purchased CR 2008 and the server license. We purchased from CDW and my IT guy sent me a Link to an install.

I am developing with VS 2008, Sequel Server 2005 and ASP.NET.

Is there another install for the Server? When I run the program on the Server I get an error message.

Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=12.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

The error message idicates that you have no CR runtime installed (CR or CR server (RAS)) or anything Crystal at all on that computer. Do you see that assembly in GAC?

      Thanks Ludek for your help!

I do stand by my decision to return the Crystal Report software. I ran into similar problems with Crystal Reports about 10 years ago and I went to another vendor. Maybe my attitude is tainted a little based on these past experiences.

      Thanks Again,

      John
