COEP summarization with OKBI is not working

Hello SAP Experts,

Our COEP table is increasing rapidly, mainly because of the SD postings with operation VBRK and MM postings (MKPF). We are testing the creation of summarization in COEP, through customizing transaction OKBI. I inserted all the available fields for type ORC (Reconciliation objects) in OKBI, and the summarization doesn't work.

Do you know how can I make it work? We found out the report RARCCOA5 that shows what summarization can be done, based on the existing records in COEP. But it is not working using OKBI.

Our release is ECC6.

I answered this question myself with the solution given to me by SAP.

Hi,

I didn't receive any answer from SAP yet. I believe the problem is in BD87, maybe through IDOC execution some verifications aren't done, like OKBI configuration. Lets see what SAP answers.

Hi Fred!

My OSS was answered, SAP created note "1617867_OKBI Summarization not executed as expected", to correct the summarization problem through BD87.

The problem was that in my client BD87 is calling a Z function that posts BKPFF, VBRK and MKPF documents with one single COMMIT. This was causing the non-summarization of the documents.

So they created this note to prevent the summarization error in these scenarios.

Hope your problem can either be solved with this note.

Hi,

we have some SD postings that are done using BAPI. These are the only postings that are not being summarized in COEP.

Do you know if there is any problem for OKBI summarization using BAPIs?

I have the same issue a set in OKBI but I stil lhave no summarization. We're on ECC 6.0 I have a ticket with OSS do you fix your problem ?
