Renaming of User logons

Hi

I need to migrate User Logons from Old Naming convention to New Naming Convention but also want to preserve old user history i.e. rename User IDs in internal/customizing tables to User Ids with New Naming convention as well. Can anyone suggest me if there is any batch program to do this.

Are you using B1? If yes, I don't think this is achievable in any legitimate manners.

We have R/3 ECC 5.0 Release 6.40. Is it feasible now?
